(중부시사신문) 주한외국기업연합회 KOFA (대표, 김종철)은 지난 22일 정기총회에서 KOFA 소속 고용노동부 소관 사단법인 주한외국기업인사관리자협회 (KOFA HR ) 신임회장에 에어리퀴드코리아 인사부문 고성호 부사장이 선임됐다고 밝혔다.

 

이날 행사는 서울지방국세청 등 정부인사들과 주한네델란드상공회의소및 주요 주한외국계상공회의소 임원들과 KOFA HR 정회원사들이 참석했다.

 

고성호 부사장은 연세대학교 정치외교학과를 졸업하고 SK 네크웍스 , Applied Materials Korea , 한국 BMS제약 , 에어리퀴드코리아 등 글로벌 외국계기업에서 만 33년간 인사경영전문가로서의 경력을 거쳐 현재 아시아 퍼시픽을 총괄하는 Head of Total Rewards, Asia Pacific 직무로 근무하고있다.

 

에어리퀴드 코리아는 프랑스 파리에 본사를 둔 에어리퀴드의 한국지사로서 1996년도부터 국내 주요 산업분야 (석유화학, 정유, 철강, 전자 산업 등)의 성장에 기여하고 친환경 요구에 부응하기 위해 산업용 가스 및 관련 서비스를 제공해 오고 있고 수소 에너지 등 미래 친환경 에너지 사업의 토대를 마련하고자 노력하고 있다.

 

신임 고성호 회장은 협회의 내적 역량을 재정비하고 외향확장과 함께 사회적 기여로서 청년취업 조력과 외투기업 인사담당 후배들의 역량개발 양성에 힘쓰겠다고 밝혔다.

 

한편 주한외국기업연합회 KOFA는 한국에 진출한 외국인투자기업의 대표이사들로 구성된 산업통상자원부 소관 (사)주한글로벌기업대표이사협회 GCEO와 주한외국인투자기업의 인사담당 임원 및 실무팀장들로 구성된 고용노동부 소관 (사)주한외국기업인사관리자협회 와 서울특별시 소관 (사)주한외국기업상공연합회를 운영하고 있으며 주한외국상공회의소들과 긴밀한 협력관계를 하고있다.

 

현재 약 600여개 회원사 네트워크를 보유하고 있고 산업통상자원부 및 고용노동부 와 서울시, 경기도 등의 지자체 정부조직과 긴밀한 소통 창구의 역할을 하며 17,000 여개 주한외국인투자기업의 경영정보제공과 각종 실태조사 및 연구.조사 등을 통하여 외국인투자기업의 경영자들과 정부의 가교 역할을 하는 기관이다.

 

또한 KOFA는 매년 서울시 소재 대학 및 전국 권역별 대학들과 연대하여 청년고용촉진을 위하여 대학별 캠퍼스 리쿠르팅 , 외국인투자기업 , 글로벌기업 취업박람회등을 공동주관 해오고 있고 매년 주한외국기업 및 글로벌기업들의 인사담당들이 직접 참여하는 급여 서베이 및 복리후생 실태조사를 담고 있으며 17,000여 주한외국기업들의 상세한 정보를 매년 업데이트 하고 그외 각종 인사.노무 ,세무,마케팅등의 고급경영자료들을 한국지사장들 과 인사당담 임원들에게 제공 하고 있다.

 

(KOFA HR) Appointed Vice President Ko Seongho of Air Liquide Korea as the new chairman

 

KOFA (CEO, Kim Jong-cheol) of the Federation of Foreign Businesses in Korea said at its regular general meeting on the 24th that Vice President Ko Seongho of Air Liquide Korea's human resources division was appointed as the new chairman of KOFA HR, a division under the Ministry of Employment and Labor.

 

The event was attended by government officials such as the Seoul Regional Tax Office, executives of the Dutch Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Korea and major foreign business chambers in Korea, and full-time KOFA HR members.

 

Vice President Ko Seongho graduated from Yonsei University with a degree in political and foreign affairs and worked as a human resources management expert at global foreign companies such as SK Network, Applied Materials Korea, BMS Pharmaceutical, and Air Liquide Korea for 33 years.

 

Air Liquide Korea, based in Paris, France, has been providing industrial gas and related services since 1996 to contribute to the growth of major industries in Korea (petrochemical, oil refining, steel, electronics, etc.) and meet eco-friendly needs, and is trying to lay the groundwork for future eco-friendly energy businesses such as hydrogen energy.

 

The new chairman, Ko Seongho said he will reorganize the association's internal capabilities and work hard to help young people find employment and foster the capacity development of junior HR in charge of foreign-invested companies as a social contribution.

 

Korea Foreign Enterprise Association [KOFA] is a commerce chamber of foreign enterprises in Korea that was established in October 1999 as a community. KOFA operates two non-profit corporations.

 

KOFA Global Enterprise CEO Association [KOFA GCEO] is an organization composed of CEOs of foreign enterprises in Korea and is under the supervision of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.

Korea Foreign Enterprise HR Association [KOFA HR] is an organization composed of HR executives and team leaders of foreign enterprises in Korea and is under the supervision of the Ministry of Employment and Labor.

 

KOFA currently has a network of about 600 member companies and serves as a close communication channel with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Employment and Labor, and local government organizations such as Seoul and Gyeonggi-do.

 

It also serves as a bridge between managers of foreign investment companies and the government by providing management information on more than 17,000 foreign investment companies in Korea and conducting various surveys and research & investigation.

 

In addition, every year, it has been co-organizing campus recruitment by university and foreign investment company and global enterprise job fairs to promote youth employment in cooperation with universities in Seoul and other regions of the country.
